Tickets for the 2025 AFCON will go on sale towards the end of the week, has learned Médias24 from reliable sources.
The opening of ticket sales for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, initially scheduled for Thursday, September 25, was disrupted by technical malfunctions. Many supporters were unable to complete their purchase, while others in the queue were abruptly removed from it.
According to our sources, the issue was linked to the system’s limited capacity: “It was designed to handle a normal flow. However, at the launch, more than three million people were already in the queue.” This surge caused the malfunctions experienced by the supporters.
Furthermore, the Yalla app has been launched and is now available on the Play Store and App Store. Once supporters secure their tickets, they can create a Fan ID, which is required to access stadiums and fan zones.
Currently, the only operational feature is to check whether supporters from a specific country require a visa to enter Morocco.
